On December 4, 2024, to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, the "Nanyan Garden · New Youth" Mirror Lake Night Garden Party was successfully held by the lakeside of Mirror Lake. To showcase the academic characteristics of the School of Environment and Energy and promote green environmental protection, the student association "Green+" from the School of Environment and Energy fully leveraged their imagination and creativity, theming the event around "Laputa: Castle in the Sky" and meticulously planning a time-space adventure that blends environmental science popularization with anime and science fiction. At this garden party, the "Green+" association themed the event around "Laputa: Castle in the Sky," one of Hayao Miyazaki's environmental trilogy films. This film blends dreams, environmental protection, life, and survival, appealing to people to understand nature, create the world, and benefit future generations. It not only conveys the concept of environmental protection but also demonstrates a profound dialogue between human civilization and natural civilization. The association aims to transmit environmental protection concepts through the innovative form of anime culture, sparking students' attention and love for environmental protection.

At the activity stalls, the association set up a fun trivia session to test students' familiarity with energy-saving and environmental protection knowledge. Additionally, they designed a "Garbage Classification Mini-Game," where participating students sorted cards representing various types of garbage into several small trash bins through realistic scenario simulations. The atmosphere at the event site was lively, with many students achieving high accuracy rates based on their own environmental awareness, winning small prizes such as postcards, canvas bags, and bookmarks carefully prepared by the association, and leaving with full hands.

As the night gradually deepened, the environmental science popularization activities of the "Green+" association drew to a close by the lakeside of Mirror Lake. On this night, we traveled through a space-time blend of environmental protection and anime culture, collectively weaving an unforgettable green memory. This event not only fully demonstrated the academic characteristics of the School of Environment and Energy but also subtly enhanced students' environmental awareness and literacy. During the event, Nanyanyuan students learned about environmental protection knowledge in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, experiencing the importance of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

The "Green+" association will uphold the school spirit and motto, promote the culture and spirit of the School of Environment and Energy, practice the concept of green development, contribute to the construction of a sustainable campus, continually enrich students' extracurricular lives, and contribute the youth power of environment and energy students to the construction of a beautiful China through practice!
