Mr. Huanan Wu graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Nankai University in 2002 and received his PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2009. He has worked as a research assistant, postdoctoral fellow and research scholar in the Department of Chemistry and the Institute of Environmental Research of the National University of Singapore, engaged in the research and development of modern analysis and water treatment technology and the transformation of results, and is a key member of the Singapore-Beida - Oxford Research Alliance. In 2012, he was hired as a visiting researcher in the School of Environmental Energy of Peking University Deep Research Institute, responsible for the preparation of “Shenzhen Polysilicate Composite Environmental protection Materials Engineering Laboratory”. In 2013, Shenzhen introduced overseas high-level talents to China through the “Peacock Program”. Research interests include water pollution control, biosensor development, waste recycling and energy conversion, energy conservation and emission reduction. It undertakes scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, and is responsible for the construction of “Shenzhen Nanshan Heavy Metal Monitoring Technology Center”. He has published more than 10 conference papers in international journals, 6 domestic and foreign invention patents, and 2 technology transfer papers. He is now an associate researcher in the School of Environment and Energy at Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University. Research areas include solid waste recycling, low-energy water treatment technology and energy recovery, and environmental analysis technology.
